Appreciation of Your Support & Attendance
We wish to send a special thank you to parents and students for the outstanding participation in our FCAT testing sessions. We have been able to test at least 99% of our students on math, reading, and science. Students and teachers have worked hard this year learning the curriculum that is outlined in the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards. Everyone did a great job!!
Puberty Curriculum for 5th graders
On Thursday, April 25, Nurse Tina will be presenting the puberty curriculum to parents of our 5th graders. The presentation will be held at 6 PM at the Family Service Center and parents will have the opportunity to ask questions from the presenters. 5th graders will be participating in the puberty classes beginning the week of April 29. Parent are urged to participate in the question/answer session.
We Need Your Help!
We are in need of some flip-flops for our nurse's closet. New is preferable, but we'll accept gently used flip-flops. Students often break their straps or soles come apart, and Nurse Tina needs something to replace them with. Any amount that you could donate would be definitely appreciated. Also, if your child has outgrown any pants that could be donated, please do! Accidents happen and if these children could have access to clean clothes that would be really great. She can use small right on up to women's sizes. Small right on up to young men's sizes as well. If the pants have elastic wastebands, that would work even better.
Thank you for helping us help the children!
